USEFUL ANSWERS

Common questions.

Scope, ownership, timelines and support.

Ask about your project
Which package should I choose?

Begin with what customers need to understand and do. Launch suits one focused offer. Business adds dedicated pages and analytics. Growth adds more pages and consent-based Mailchimp follow-up. Corporate supports a larger structure, up to two agreed standard integrations and team handover. Enterprise begins with paid discovery for complex requirements. You can send a brief before deciding; we confirm the fit and scope with you.

I already have a website. Can you improve or replace it?

Yes. We review what works, what is missing and the systems you already use. The proposal identifies the content to retain, the pages to improve and any separately scoped migration, redirects or provider changes. We agree the transition before altering a live site.

What do I need to provide?

Your business information, services, audience, existing brand assets and material you are entitled to use. Packages include editing supplied content within their scope; original long-form writing, photography and substantial asset sourcing are separate. We also agree one person to consolidate feedback and arrange secure access to the relevant accounts.

What’s included in the price?

Each package has a defined page limit, revision allowance and feature list. All builds include responsive design, domain connection, core search metadata, launch checks and 30 days of support for defects in the delivered work. Domain registration, paid hosting, mailboxes, third-party subscriptions, taxes and specialist work are separate. Your written proposal is the final scope.

Can you look after the domain, email and hosting?

Yes. We can help select and connect your domain, configure hosting and guide branded mailbox setup. You own the accounts and pay provider charges directly wherever practical. Domain availability, registration and renewals are confirmed with your chosen registrar; a domain purchase is never implied by a website package.

How does Mailchimp automation work?

We connect a signup form to a dedicated audience, design a branded template and build the agreed welcome or follow-up sequence. Growth includes one flow of up to three emails; Corporate includes two flows of up to six emails total. Your Mailchimp plan must support the selected features. Subscriptions, contact limits and sending charges are separate. Activation follows an approved test and sender setup.

Will I own the website and my accounts?

The proposal records the handover arrangements for your commissioned work after payment. Your domain, analytics and email accounts are set up under your ownership wherever practical. Provider licences, subscriptions, stock assets and third-party components retain their own terms. You receive the access and handover documentation agreed in the scope.

How long does a website take?

Timing depends on the scope, the availability of content, approvals and third-party access. After reviewing your brief, we agree on milestones and a target launch date in writing. Complex integrations and content migrations are assessed before a delivery commitment.

What does monthly care cover?

Care covers scheduled site checks and the update hours listed in your plan. Minor updates include text, photographs, service details and changes within existing layouts. Hours reset monthly and do not roll over. Extra minor work is $75 CAD per hour with approval; new pages, redesigns and specialist development receive a separate quote. Care does not imply continuous monitoring or around-the-clock incident response.

Can you handle a large corporate project?

Start with discovery. We assess the content, users, integrations, data, security, accessibility, procurement requirements and support expectations. Enterprise work is quoted only after that assessment, including any specialist delivery resources. Custom software, regulated systems, formal certifications and service-level agreements require explicit scope and acceptance criteria.

Do you guarantee Google rankings or sales?

The work can include useful content, technical search foundations, analytics and clear enquiry paths. Search rankings, traffic and sales depend on many factors and are not guaranteed. Phone and email clicks measure intent; they do not prove a completed conversation or sale.
